NBA Draft Profile: Derrick Favors
- Updated: April 30, 2010
Derrick Favors
POWER FORWARD
6-10, 246 lbs.
College: Georgia Tech
Class: Freshman
STRENGTHS: Favors has an NBA-ready body, is powerful around the rim, and can rebound and finish with the best in college basketball. He has incredible potential because of his size and athleticism.
WEAKNESSES: Favors was not assertive enough on offense at times last year. He was the best player on the team yet only averaged 12.4 points per game. He needs to develop his post presence and understand how to get into better scoring position down low.
