NBA Draft Profile: Gordon Hayward
- Updated: May 4, 2010
Gordon Hayward
FORWARD
6-8, 200 lbs.
College: Butler
Class: Sophomore
STRENGTHS: Hayward was the best player on a Butler team that came within a fraction of an inch of winning a National Championship. He is a great shooter, has terrific ballhandling skills, and can get his shot off the dribble. He is also a solid defender, especially on the ball.
WEAKNESSES: Hayward is rail-thin (6-8, 200) by NBA standards and may have trouble getting his shot against world-class athletes. He could use another year or two in school to bulk up.
