Watch: Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid ejected for tripping referee

Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid probably doesn’t feel too great about life right now.

The senior forward had a momentary meltdown on Sunday night, as he tried to trip a referee out of frustration on a no-call in the Beavers’ 59-53 loss to Utah. Either that, or he’s been listening to too much Jay-Z.

Check out the video above.

Anybody who’s ever played competitive basketball before has probably wanted to do this at some point, but come on man. You’ve got to be better than that. There’s no doubt Reid will see a suspension for his actions on Sunday.

“I will have to review and discuss the entire play with Jarmal,” said Beavers head coach Wayne Tinkle. “Obviously we don’t EVER want to shed a negative light on our program or university, or conduct ourselves in any manner other than first class, on or off the court.”
