Day 2 is also the start of the best mid-major conference tournament out there: the Missouri Valley. There are so many reasons why Arch Madness rules: It’s played in the in Saint Louis, the T.V. coverage is impeccable, and the games are usually incredibly compelling. The top two seeds are usually guaranteed an NCAA bid (this they are ), but much of the rest of the league is in win-or-get-in mode. The stakes are high. There are only two play-in games tonight (Drake/Bradley and Southern Illinois/Missouri State), but tomorrow is when Arch Madness gets awesome. There are four games, starting at 1 p.m. central, with the top eight teams in action. Championship week doesn’t get much better than that.
