NCAA Tournament Predictions: South Region: 6. UNLV vs. 11. Colorado

6 UNLV (26-8, 9-5 Mountain West)-The Runnin’ Rebs own a home win over North Carolina, so you know this team can play. Sophomore forward Mike Moser leads the team in both scoring and rebounding, putting up 14.1 points and pulling down 10. 1 boards per game. Moser was a mid-season finalist for the Wooden Award as National Player of the Year.
The Rebs are loaded with experience in the backcourt. Senior guard Chace Stanback (12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds) is a consistent scorer for the Rebs, and 6-3 junior Anthony Marshall (12.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 4.6 apg) can do a little of everything.
Senior Oscar Bellfield adds leadership to one of the best offensive teams in the country.

11 Colorado (23-11, 11-7 Pac-12)-The Buffaloes are a surprise entry into the field of 68 after finishing sixth in the Pac-12, then rolling through the conference tournament with 4 wins in 4 days to grab the automatic bid. The Buffs never won the Big XII tournament title, but won it on the first try in their new league.
6-5 Senior guard Carlon Brown leads Colorado in scoring at 12.6 points per game.
6-7 forward Andre Roberson has a silky-smooth game, and averaged 11.6 points, and 11.1 rebounds per contest for the Buffaloes. He put up 20 and 11 in Colorado’s first-round win over Utah.
