Williams has agreed to a five-year deal worth approximately $98.75 million.
Yesterday, the team sent five players to Atlanta in exchange for All-Star Joe Johnson, and the rest of his contract (4-years, $90 million).
Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, DeShawn Stevenson, Jordan Williams and Johan Petro were all sent to Atlanta as part of the deal.
Brooklyn is also involved in lively discussions with Orlando about acquiring Dwight Howard, who has reportedly told the Magic that he only wants to be traded to the Nets.
Orlando G.M. Rob Hennigan confirmed that report.
