ESPN’s Jemele Hill was just “messing” with John Krasinski
- Updated: January 7, 2016
Credit to John Krasinski for being a good sport.
Krasinski, who is from Massachusetts, was a recent guest on ESPN’s “His & Hers” to promote his new movie, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
It seemed like a pretty harmless interview, until ESPN’s Jemele Hill tried to troll him with obnoxious questions pointed at the Patriots.
Jemele Hill was clearly trying to get a much stronger reaction, even though she denied it:
.@jemelehill should be thankful @johnkrasinski is a nice guy. What an idiotic question. #PatsNation https://t.co/cA3NCS8N3G

@I_amRJB relax. We were just messing with him. — Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) January 7, 2016
@jemelehill Really? You basically asked him to admit that he was annoying. — RJ (@I_amRJB) January 7, 2016
@I_amRJB yes, really. We had a feeling how he would respond so that’s why we asked him. Sometimes you set guests up to get a funny response — Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) January 7, 2016
@jemelehill his response seemed like he was pretty annoyed by your obnoxious question. Hilarious! Great job! — RJ (@I_amRJB) January 7, 2016
What she fails to understand is that it’s the company she works for that has made people believe that all Patriots fans are obnoxious, arrogant, and braggadocios, when really we’re just constantly defending a team that NEVER gets credit when it’s due.
Oh yeah, and she’s already got a history with hating on Boston Sports.
I mean the Celtics and Hitler, really?
To her credit, she did apologize, but come on.
You were just “messing with him” Jemele? Stop trolling, and just DO. YOUR. JOB.
